2007 IAAPT Meeting
This years meeting takes place on Saturday, November 3, on the campus of Simpson College, in Indianola, Iowa. Registration begins at 8:30 with the meeting starting at 9:00 am. Please remember to bring $7 for dues, and $6 for the buffet, to be paid when you register. Invited speakers for this years meeting feature two Iowa teachers who, in part, teach science by having students do science; Larry Schwinger of West Central Valley High School, and Steve Feller, physics professor at Coe College. Many door prizes and giveaways will be awarded.
Have you ever attended an IAAPT meeting? If not, we invite you to join the rest of the community of Iowa Physics teachers designed to give you inspiration for your physics teaching. As an incentive we are offering to not only waive the registration fee for the first-timers, but we'll also buy you lunch!
Meeting Information:
- A buffet lunch will be served at our local Quantum Cafe. The cost of lunch will be $6.00. Fees may be paid upon arrival, but I will need ahead count for the lunch so please pre-register by dropping me an e-mail of your intention to come by October 26,
